Key Differences Between the Streamlight TLR7 HLX and TLR1

Here are the main distinctions between the two:

• Lumens and Candela: Both lights output 1,000 Lumens, but the TLR7 HLX has 22,000 candela vs the 20,000 in the TLR1. Candela basically measures beam intensity.
• Size and Weight: The TLR7 HLX is noticeably smaller and lighter (2.88 oz), whereas the TLR1 is a little larger and heavier (4.32 oz).
• Mounting Options: Both use a similar side screw to tighten onto the rail.
• Battery and Runtime: Both lights can use CR 123A batteries, but the TLR7 HLX also comes with a rechargeable battery.
• Price Point: Price will vary among sellers, but in general it looks like the TLR1 is a little cheaper.
